Thomas Pennington

Thomas E. “Tommy” Pennington, age 67 of Fairborn passed away at home January 30, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born March 1, 1954 in Akron, the son of the late Clay and Annie (Radford) Pennington.  Tommy enjoyed fishing and was a lifelong Cincinnati Bengals fan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Pennington.  Tommy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara; son, Tommy Pennington; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn, Natalie; 2 sisters-in-law, Patricia Shaver, Melissa (Rob) Henderson; two nieces, Wendy Horton, Paige Barker; three nephews, Jason Shaver, Chase Austin Jared Austin; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Glen Henderson officiating.  The family will receive friends form 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.  The family requests masks be worn if attending the above services.
