Matthew C. Brackett

Matthew C. Brackett, age 48 of Fairborn passed away September 12, 2022.  He was born July 31, 1974 in Xenia, the son of Don Brackett and Clara (Wyatt) Davis. Matthew enjoyed watching wrestling, movies, playing video games, bowling and was a huge Cleveland Browns fan.  Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a daughter, Deanna N. Brackett; step-sister, Diane Deese; nephew, Jeremy Weaks; and step-father, Bobby Davis.  Matthew is survived by his mother, Clara Davis; daughter, Caitlin Brackett; three sisters, Mandy Brackett-Hofferbert, Sandy Brackett- Wilt (Steven), Becky Brackett-Thompson (Rick Massie); nephews, Jon Weaks, Robert (Jessica) Deese, niece, Sara Massie-Ordway; as well as many extended family and friends.  Matthew was loved by many and will be missed by all.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday September 18, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Buck Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Dayton, 3085 Woodman Dr, Suite 212, Kettering, OH 45420 in memory of Matthew.
