Lily Grace Clingner, age 17 of Dayton, passed away suddenly December 16, 2022 as a result of an automobile accident. She was born April 12, 2005 in Dayton, the daughter of Brian and Amy (Craig) Clingner. Lily was an honor roll student at Fairborn High School and was involved in many activities, including cross country, serving on the prom committee, as well as the ASL, LEO, and varsity club. Her hobbies included dancing, singing, and art.
Lily was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Phyllis Clingner. Along with her parents she is survived by two brothers, Logan and Owen; maternal grandparents, Diana and Robert Craig; paternal grandfather, Robert Clingner; uncles, Scott (Elizabeth) Craig and their children, Macy and Allison; Robert Clingner and his son, Jaxson; boyfriend, Eithan Sorrells; as well as extended family and many friends.
A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2022 from 5-9 PM at the Dayton FOP, 4275 Powell Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairborn High School and they will be distributed between the cross country team, the LEO club, and the ASL Club in Lily’s memory.
