Cheryl “Lynn” Walker, of Wheelersburg, age 63, passed away on August 24, 2022, at Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by her devoted family. She was born October 30, 1958, in Dayton, the daughter of James Ward and Lorraine (Watkins) Ward.
Cheryl Lynn Walker, known to family and friends as “Lynn,” was a dedicated mother, faithful wife, and passionate Mimi. She was a truly selfless individual and a generous Christian. Lynn married the love of her life on October 25, 1980 and was blessed beyond measure to share 41 exceptional years with her husband. Together they raised 3 children and created a distinguished family. During Lynn’s career she worked as a cashier for Jeff Schmitt Auto Group, where she made an impact among colleagues and countless clients that she encountered. Lynn was kind, compassionate, and excelled in countless endeavors.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, James (Lorraine) Ward. She is survived by her dear husband, Larry T. Walker; three children, Larry (Trina) Walker II; Jacob (Britni) Walker; Dr. Sarah (Josh) Hamblin; eight grandchildren, Kendall; Andrea; Madison; Scarlet; Kinlee; Dakota; Karma; Grace; extended family, close-friends, and a soon to be ninth grandchild!
A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 29, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. where the family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service, Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating.
