Wilma Mullins

Wilma Mullins, age 89 of Fairborn, passed away Saturday December 1, 2018.  She was born June 20, 1929 in Whitley City, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry Joseph and Linda (Casada) Alcorn.  Wilma was a longtime member of Maple Heights Baptist Church where she played piano, sang in the choir, and was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years.  She enjoyed crafts, cooking, water skiing, and volunteering for the church.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Michael Adams; seven siblings, William Alcorn, Mary Trammel, Esther Manning, Joyce Mays, Henry Joseph Alcorn, II, Gale Alcorn, James Alcorn.  Wilma is survived by her husband, Gene; three sons, Robert Adams, James Adams; Patrick (Carol) Adams; 4 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday December 4, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Maple Heights Baptist Church.
