Willie C. Brinson

Willie C. Brinson, age 91 of Fairborn passed away Friday April 16, 2021.  He was born September 15, 1929 in Lenox, Georgia, the son of the late Charlie and Mary (Smith) Brinson.  Willie served his country in the U.S. Army, retiring after 25 years of service.  He enjoyed taking care of his lawn and spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Brinson and daughter, Jacqueline Bibbs; siblings, Robert Brinson, Charlie Brinson, Frank Brinson, Catherine Byrd, Rose Powell, and Beatrice Jackson.  He is survived by his wife, Alma; brother, Clifford (Johnnie) Brinson; children, Linda Bibbs, Willie C. (Susan) Brinson Jr, Dorothy Brinson, Wanda Brinson, Christopher (Renee) Brinson; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 12:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 A.M. until the time of service (masks are required). Burial services for the family will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
