William H. Rossel, age 89 of Fairborn, formerly of Kettering, passed away Monday December 31, 2018. He was born May 5, 1929 in Newark, OH, the son of the late Harry and Marian (Evans) Rossel. William served his country in the US Air Force during Korea and earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Miami University. He was employed as a physical education teacher; early in his career at Stebbins High School and retiring from Kettering City Schools after 28 years of service. Following retirement, he and his wife had an antique business in Waynesville and Centerville, IN. William’s hobbies included gardening, woodworking, and golfing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Margaret; two children, Ronald Rossel, Kim (Bruce) Porter; three grandchildren, Cedar Rossel, Zach Porter, Lindsay Silvers; and a sister, Anne Quadrano.
