William Richard Lamb age 82, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away in Orange Park, Florida where he spent his last 7 months with his daughter and son-n-law. William passed away from complications from an unexpected illness. William was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late George and Lillie Lamb. William is also proceeded in death by his loving wife Donna Eileen Lamb (Doogan), his son Jeffrey Lamb, his brothers Scotty Lamb and Robert Smith, and sister’s Ruby Howard, Barbara Plantz, Juanita (Joanne) Griffin, and Delores (June) Mans.
William called Fairborn, Ohio home and this is where he shared a life with his beloved Donna for 57 years and the place where they raised their family. William is survived by his daughter Sonya (Todd) Sutter, his sons Ryan (Angie) Gebhart and Brian Gebhart, grandchildren; Brittany (Ryan) Hackett, Anthony Lamb, Dustin Sutter, Dylan Gebhart, Zachary Gebhart, five great- grandchildren; Peyton Wyatt, Hunter Wyatt, Jaxon Hackett, Ava Lamb, Carter Lamb, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
William’s friends and family knew him as a fun loving, kind hearted man that had an undying love for music. He never let a good party slip by where he could spend time with friends and family laughing, singing karoke and showing off his amazing dance moves. William found great pleasure traveling to the beaches of Florida with his beloved Donna where he could soak up the sun and feel the sand in his toes. If you asked William what his best accomplish in life was, he would tell you the creation of his children and grandchildren. William enjoyed being a member of the Fairborn Fraternal Order of Eagles for most of his adult life as this is where he met the most amazing people that he forever called his friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 24, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Bill McFarland officiating.
Family will receive friends Thursday September 24, 2020 from 12 PM until 1:00 PM from at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home located at 422 E Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
