Willard David Blair

Willard David Blair, age 72 of Fairborn, passed away February 19, 2023 at Hospice of Dayton.  He was born April 21, 1950 in Jackson, Ohio, the son of the late Willard and Marilyn (Arnold) Blair.  David served his county in the USMC and continued with employment at the VA as a police officer and then electric maintenance, retiring after 35 years of service.  He was a member of Rona Community Church and Philippine American Society.  He was a volunteer for the USO.   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two siblings, Sandra Stebbins and Richard Blair.  David is survived by his wife, Norma; two children, Matthew Blair, Amber Blair; two sisters, Pamela (Blair) Phillips (husband Curt), Marsha Blair; as well as extended family and friends.  A visitation will be held on Friday February 24, 2023 from 2:00 until 3:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at Rona Community Church, 1082 Rona Pkwy Dr., Fairborn, Pastor Jim Smith officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Dayton National Cemetery.
