Wayne Robert Wilson, Jr.

Wayne Robert Wilson, Jr., age 57, of Fairborn, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2025, at his residence. He was born at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio on September 13, 1967 the son of Wayne (JoAnn) Wilson, Sr. and Joy (Craig) Heishman. 

 Wayne was a graduate of Fairborn High School class of 1985, studied at Wright State University, and earned his HVAC Certification from RETS Tech Center. He also earned many professional certifications while employed as Service Manager with Wagner Subaru in Fairborn where he retired from in January 2024, after over 30 years of service.

Wayne lived a life rich in love, laughter, and memorable adventures leaving an unforgettable mark on his family and friends. He had a passion for the great outdoors, working on cars, and was a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He made many memories with family and friends traveling to his favorite destinations including the Jackson family farm and St. John, USVI. His spirit and enthusiasm for life will continue to resonate in the hearts and memories of his loved ones.

Including his parents, Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia (Rohr), with whom he shared 38 loving years of marriage. He also leaves behind his son, Wayne (Katie) Wilson, III; grandson, Wayne Wilson IV; brother, Wesley (Becky) Wilson; in-laws, Eugene (Flora) Rohr, Dean (Belinda) Rohr, Cynthia (Randy) Smith, Michael Rohr, Barbara (Warren) Stiles; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 12:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Jay Russell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
