Virginia (Ginny) Fern Bonkofsky

June 15, 1926 — April 2, 2020

Virginia (Ginny) Fern Bonkofsky was born to Harlow and Ruby Clark on June 15, 1926, and went to be with the Lord on April 2, 2020.  Ginny is survived by her soulmate Jack Hoffman; her son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Jeanne Bonkofsky; two sisters, Bonnie Matovich, Helen (Babe) Bailey; and grandchildren Holly Haynes, Kelly Collins, Evan Bonkofsky, and Elizabeth Haney. She was preceded in in death by her husband, Charles L Bonkofsky; a son, Charles R Bonkofsky; and sister, Dorothy P Robinson.  Her interests included family, golf, gardening and traveling.  Ginny devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her mother, Ruby, who passed away at age 90. She enjoyed summers playing golf at Greene County Club with friends and family, working in her flower bed taking care of her roses, and traveling with her husband Charles. Ginny grew up around Winsor, Ohio and moved to Dayton, Ohio where she met and married Charles L Bonkofsky. They settled in Fairborn, Ohio where the raised their family and became lifelong residents.  She was an active member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, member of the church choir and worked with various charities.  At her request, private services were held.
