Victoria "Vickie" Jane Center

Victoria “Vickie” Jane Pinyon Center went home to be with the Lord and reunite with her loving husband, Charles (Darrell) on January 15, 2024. She was born June 8, 1946 in Blue Diamond Kentucky, the daughter of the late Shirley New Pinyon Dunaway and Bill Pinyon Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; infant son (1972); Aunt, “Granny” Della Dietz; great granddaughter, Aydriona Rose; two brothers Dale Pinyon, Paul Dunaway; sister, Neecie Pinyon Castor; and niece, Beverly Clayton; special friend, Joan "Granny" Shoop.

She is survived by her 4 children, Cheryl (Wes), Scott (Shelia), Charles, Tracy (Dennis); granddaughters, Jessica, Amanda, Lauren, Kira; grandsons, Aaron, Benjamin, Keith, Paden Brandon, Kaleb; great-grandchildren Jayshaun, Kruiz, Keilei, Lynlee, Landen, Hailey, Paisley, Bentley, Beckett, Daxton, Brycen, Rhett, Leighton, Brooks, Gauge; and two Center babies arriving in 2024.

Vickie is also survived by her sister and best friend Carolyn "Button" Pinyon (Doc) Columber; sisters Dona Pinyon Stewart, Pam Dunaway Shaver; brothers Don (Gail) Dunaway, David (Linda) Pinyon, Bill Jon Pinyon; special aunt, Christine Baker; cousin, Doot Fields; brother-in-law, Gerald Center; as well as many special nephews, nieces, family and friends

She was a longtime member of the Fairborn Pentecostal Church. Vickie loved fishing, collecting jewelry, spending time with family, but most of all she loved Jesus. If you knew her you felt the true love of God with the way she was always taking care of and helping others.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 22, 2024 from 5-7 P.M. at Victory Church, 2443 Valley Greene Dr., Fairborn, where a funeral will be held on Tuesday January 23 at 12 P.M. with a visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service, Pastor Silas Hoskins officiating.

Vickie will be laid to rest next to her husband at Byron Cemetery.
