Us Army Sgt. Joe Cephus Jarrell, Iii

U.S. Army Sgt. Joe Cephus Jarrell, III, passed away Sunday August 7, 2022.  He was born March 14, 2000 at the Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center.

Joe was a graduate of Fairborn High School and he was currently serving his country in the U.S. Army as a mortarman.  He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed mixed martial arts (MMA).  He also loved the outdoors and tried to get out and hike with his family every chance they got.

Preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Emory Jarrell;  maternal grandmother, Kathy (Doolin) Crites; and a niece, Makenna.

Survivors include his father and step-mother, Joe and Erin Jarrell; mother, Kristi Crites Jarrell; sisters, Cheyenne, Chelsie, and Kaitlynn; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Private services with burial at Fairfield Cemetery will be held by the family.
