Usaf Msgt. (Ret.) Warren Roger Cupp

USAF MSgt. (Ret.) Warren Roger Cupp, age 81 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday November 30, 2021 at the Hospice of Dayton.  He was born January 28, 1940 in Hamilton, Ohio, the son of the late Charles and Lola (Parrish) Cupp.

Roger served his country in the U.S. Air Force in intelligence, retiring in 1981 at the rank of Master Sergeant; and followed as a program analyst in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring in 2006 after over 46 years of combined federal service.  He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 8312 in Beavercreek and The Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1534 in Anchorage, Alaska.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Roger Warren Cupp; a brother, Frederick Cupp; and two sisters, Evelyn Dawn and Ruth Ann.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Gerlind; a son, U.S. Army Sergeant Major (Ret.) Gerry J. Cupp; three grandchildren, Joshua (Danielle) Cupp, Nathan Cupp, Brianna (Kevin) Coleman; a great-granddaughter, Leia Renee; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday December 11, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Entombment with full military honors will follow at the Byron Cemetery Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
