Usaf Msgt. (Ret.) Blair A. Lockett, Sr.

USAF MSgt. (Ret.) Blair A. Lockett, Sr., age 79 of Fairborn passed away Sunday November 12, 2023.  He was born December 23, 1943 in Clearfield, PA, the son of the late Blair B. and Olive (Fetzer) Lockett. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and followed with employment in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB, retiring after 49 of combined federal service.  He enjoyed gardening, playing bingo and shopping at TJ Maxx.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara; son, Buddy Lockett; and siblings, Baby Lockett, Permeella Bunnell.  Blair is survived by his wife, Nancy Lockett; children, Cristie (John) Walsh, Graham Lockett, Donna Norman, Lisa (Kevin) Ream, Rich (Judith) Zapsky Jr. and Blair Lockett Jr.; grandchildren, Nicole (Tyler) Martin, Alexia Lockett, Destiney Lockett, Cody Lockett, Dottie Lockett, Blair Dale Lockett, Casey Ream, Hunter (Janelle) Ream, and David McGill; great Grandchildren, Kenzie Jo, Braden, Beau, Thiago, Elozie, Benito, Lochlain, Gwyneth, Aspen, and Gracelynn; siblings; Ruby McKay, Charles Lockett, Connie Passmore; as well as extended family and friends.  A funeral service will be held on Monday November 20, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Keith Allen officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service. Minister Steve Sisco will officiate the graveside service followed by military honors at Fairfield Cemetery.
