Usaf Tsgt Mike P. (Ret.) George, Jr.

USAF (ret.) TSgt. Mike P. George, Jr., age 62 of Fairborn, passed away suddenly Saturday December 16, 2017.  He was born June 4, 1955 in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Mike P., Sr. and Katherine E. (Keyser) George.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as a civil engineer, retiring after 20 years of service.  Mike enjoyed fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Edward; and a brother, James.  He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Jennifer (Shane) Sharp; six siblings, Theo, Skip, Doreen, Maria, Kim, Tim; as well as many extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday December 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Robert Kline officiating.  The family will receive friends from 930 AM until the time of service.  Burial with military honors will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.
