Rev. Toney Easterling

Rev. Toney Easterling, age 95, arrived at his Eternal Heavenly home on December 30, 2024. Toney was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on August 20, 1929, the son of the late Walter and Nora (Johnson) Easterling. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Faye (Bays) Easterling, son Jeffrey Bays, sister Marie (Easterling) Williams, and daughter in law Kathy Easterling.

Toney was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. Toney’s favorite pastime was reading his Bible and preaching the Gospel.

Toney is survived by his son Larry Easterling, his twin brother Tooney (Imajean) Easterling, Three Grandsons; Alan Easterling (Fairborn) Steven (Michelle) Easterling (Huber Heights), and Jeffrey (Lauren) Bays (Louisville, KY), One Granddaughter Stacey Wayt (Baltimore, OH) Seven great-grandchildren; Micah, Noah, Jeremiah, and Jonah Easterling (Huber Heights}, Adrian Bryan (Fairborn), Jeffrey Lee and Annabelle Faye Bays (Louisville Kentucky).

The Easterling family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice for the amazing care of their dad and uncle.

A funeral service will be held on Monday January 6, 2025 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Mark Long officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Toney will be laid to rest with military honors at Byron Cemetery. If desired memorial contributions may be made to Day City Hospice.
