Tina Chapman

May 3, 1954 — November 26, 2021

Tina Chapman, age 67 of Jamestown, passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital.  She was born May 3, 1954 in Hazard, KY, the daughter of the late Billy, Jr. and Ethel (Hiye) Couch.  Tina had been previously employed with Far Hills Orthopedics, Southtown Heating and Cooling and Color Q.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Dean. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, David, three daughters; Kasey (Cyrus) Otto, Karen Chapman (Michael Hirschbach), Kim Chapman (Justin “Jake” Brooks); five grandchildren; Kollyn, Carter, Delaney, Aiden, Briggs; six siblings, Billie Jo (Doug) Vance, Jonna (Gary) Frankart, Bobbie (Albert) Lovvorn, Mike (Missy) Couch, Jeff Couch, Charlie (Ina) Couch; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.

Tina, affectionately known as “Granna”, was such a loving, caring and family oriented person.  She was truly at her happiest with a house full of family and friends.  No one left her house with an empty stomach.  She would feed you until you were sick and then serve dessert on top of that!  She was a true people-pleaser.  She made everyone feel special and would often go out of her way to do so.  No one loved shopping more than Granna.  She was on a first name basis with all the local cashiers and delivery drivers.  If there was ever anything you needed you could almost guarantee she had it or would be buying it on her next trip out!

Tina touched the lives of so many people.  Life will never be the same without her but we are forever grateful for the lessons taught and the lifetime of memories.

A memorial service to celebrate Tina and her mother, Ethel, will be held on Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.
