Terrance Lee "Terry" Meyers

Terrance Lee “Terry” Meyers, age 83 of Fairborn, passed away, peacefully, Sunday, March 23, 2025. He was born November 19, 1941, in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Richard B. and Evelyn L. (Kettleheck) Meyers.

Terry lived a life rich in family and friendships, leaving an incredible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

For many years, Terry dedicated himself as a warehouse worker at Select Tool & Die Inc., until retirement. Following this chapter, he continued working at Sugar Isle Golf Course in New Carlisle. His commitment to hard work and responsibility was evident throughout his career.

He was an avid golfer who cherished the time spent on the course, relishing each swing and the friendships fostered during the game. As a lifetime member of VFW Post 9684, Terry immersed himself in activities that honored service and promoted camaraderie, demonstrating his dedication to his fellow Americans, veterans, and the values they represented.

Family was at the core of Terry's life. He was immensely proud of his expansive family, especially his 30 grandchildren, who filled his heart with joy and purpose. He embraced his role as a patriarch with love and humor, often bringing laughter and warmth to family gatherings. His sense of humor and deep affection for those around him were qualities that endeared him to many.

In addition to his parents, Terry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Brenda Sue (McCall) Meyers; brother, Richard E. Meyers; and son-in-law, Billy Walker. He is survived by six children, Ricky Meyers, Robin Walker, Randy (Lori) Meyers, Terri (Mike) Jacobs, C.J. Smith, Richard (Kendra) Smith; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, extended family, and close friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH, 45324. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M., until the time of service, Pastor Rob Sweeney officiating. Inurnment to follow at Byron Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Terry's memory.
