Steven R. Nealis

Steven R. Nealis, age 65, of Fairborn, OH, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Victory Ridge Hospice at the Dayton VA. He was born May 25, 1958, in Dayton, OH, the son of the late Eugene and Glenna (Cremeens) Nealis.

Steven served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He enjoyed fishing, and browsing estate sales. Moreover, Steven held an extensive collection of cuckoo clocks. To those who knew and loved Steven his memory will be cherished, forever.

In addition to his parents, Steven is preceded in death by a brother, Ralph E. Nealis. He is survived by two siblings, Vernon (Martha) Nealis, Sharon (Jimmy) Ratliff; nieces and nephews, Michelle Thacker, Christopher Ratliff; Melissa Trimbach (Bobby), Christopher Nealis (Lily); as well as extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, 2024, from 6:00 P.M., until 7:00 P.M., at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, OH 45324. A funeral service will military honors will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428.
