Shirley A. Morefield

Shirley A. Morefield, age 65 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday September 27, 2018 at the Soin Medical Center.  She was born April 28, 1953 and raised in Siler, KY, the daughter of Henry and Mildred (Paul) Partin.  Shirley was employed with the Fairborn City Schools, retiring in 2016.  Preceded in death by her father; and a brother, K.C. Cole.  Survivors include her mother, Mildred Lewis of TN; a daughter, Melissa Brown of Fairborn; three step-children, David, Jimmy, and Glenn Jr. Morefield; a granddaughter, Samantha Brown; seven step-grandchildren, Chelsey, Paige, Brittany, Jamie, David, Tabitha, Glenn III; four sisters, Nonie Stringer, Zona Reedy, Velma Partin, Bobbie Jean Sternberger; a brother, Dwayne Partin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  The family will receive friends on Saturday October 6, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A memorial service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Kevin Reedy officiating.
