Sherill Marie Cruea, age 25 of Fairborn, gained her wings on Sunday October 22, 2017. She was born March 7, 1992 in Xenia, the daughter of Stephen E. and Tonie L. (Marsh) Cruea. A lifelong resident of Fairborn, she attended Fairborn City Schools, graduating in 2010. As a young girl she played T-ball with Fairborn Little League, continuing on to play softball with Fairborn Girls Softball, and fast pitch for Baker Middle School and Fairborn High School. Sherill was employed with Kroger’s in Fairborn for the past seven years. She was an avid lover of animals, especially horses and huskies. Sherill enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with her family and friends; as well as spending quality time with her nephews. She was her daddy’s girl. Sherill is survived by her father and mother, Steve and Tonie Cruea of Fairborn; brother, Stephen; sister, Stephanie; nephews, Preston, Bailey, and Carter; Uncle Bobby (Linda) Marsh; Aunt Sharon Marsh (Billy Engle); Uncle Dave Kirkwood; cousins, Andrew, Jerry, Amber, Chris, Patty, Ashley, Joey; dear friends, Haley, Clint, Eddie, Jung, Matt, Cory, Ryan, Wilma; among many other extended family and friends. She was met in heaven by a special big brother, Aaron. The family will receive friends on Friday October 27, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 10:00 A.M., Pastor Stuart Snow officiating. Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
