Sharon S. Gross

Sharon S. Gross, age 73 of Fairborn, passed away Monday January 15, 2024 at the Hospice of Dayton.  She was born November 14, 1950 in Xenia, the daughter of the late James and Wanda (Spence) Garland.

Sharon was a graduate of Fairborn High School and remained active with the reunion committee of her graduating class and she was a longtime member of the former Green Acres Swim and Tennis Club.  Family and friends were most important to her and she enjoyed hosting get togethers for holidays and other special occasions.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia.  Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Roland; a son, Steven Gross of Fairborn; brother, Ronald Garland; sister, Anita (Dale) Belcher; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.  Roland and Steve would like to extend a special thank you to Sharon’s many special friends and neighbors who have offered a helping hand during her illness.

A gathering to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday January 27, 2023 from 12:30 – 3:00 P.M. at T.J. Chumps, 1100 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.
