Scottie W. Davis

Scottie W. Davis, age 56 of Dayton, passed away October 4, 2022.  He was born June 2, 1966 in Dayton, the son of the late Arthur and Betty (Taulbee) Davis.  He was vice president of the Milton Athletic Club; and member of the VFW 6861 and Moose 1068, Fairborn.  Scottie enjoyed racing and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan; watching old TV shows, especially John Wayne; and spending time with family and friends.  He was one to always lend a hand and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  He is survived by his son, Matthew (Adrianne) Davis; grandson, Jackson Davis; mother of his son, Teresa Davis; as well as aunts; uncles; cousins; extended family and many friends.  A funeral service will be held on Wednesday October 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
