Scott J. Rhoades

Scott J. Rhoades, age 30 of Fairborn, Ohio passed away Wednesday June 19, 2019.  He was born May 19, 1989 on Wurtsmith AFB, Oscoda, MI, the son of Jeffrey and Lisa (Mayne) Rhoades; twin brother of Luke Rhoades.  Scott was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and followed with employment in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, listening to music, video games, and spending time with friends.  He is survived by his parents of Michigan;  twin brother, Luke (Liz) Rhoades of Dayton; paternal grandparents, Ronald and Jeanne Rhoades of Florida; maternal grandparents, Glenys Mayne and Barry Mayne, both of England; special friend, Kira Krebs of Indiana; and beloved dog, Beau.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 26, 2019 at 12:30 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn, Ohio Chaplain Keith Hawkins officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until the time of service.  Inurnment with military honors will follow at the Dayton National Cemetery.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Veterans Outdoors, 10370 Old 3 C Hwy, Clarksville, Ohio 45113.
