Roy K. Preston

Roy K. Preston, age 61 of Fairborn passed away Thursday July 20, 2023.  He was born August 12, 1961, in Paintsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Roy and Pansy (Spradlin) Preston.  Roy served his country in the U.S. Army; he enjoyed golfing and playing video games.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda K. Riggs.  Roy is survived by three siblings, Glenda Gaye Sturgill, Jack (Gail) Preston, Joseph (Stacy) Preston; beloved dog, Heidi; lifelong friend, Dave Sorrells; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.  A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at the Byron Cemetery, 3256 Trebein Road, Fairborn.
