Ronnie D. Keeton, age 74 of Fairborn, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton. He was born March 8, 1948 in Fairborn the son of the late Emory and Grace (Riggsby) Keeton.
Ronnie was a life-long resident of Fairborn, graduating from Fairborn HS in 1966. He then served his country in the US Army as a combat medic in the 9th Infantry Division, serving in Vietnam from 1968-1969. Following his military service he was employed at Navistar in Springfield, retiring after 34 years of service.
Ronnie was a proud founding member of the Grey Riders Motorcycle Club and valued the friendships and laughs shared over the years. He also was a member of Michael L. Finnell Lodge No. 711 F&AM.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and Larry. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Judy; daughter, Kim (Mark) Foster of London, OH; grandsons, Clay (Emily) Foster of Newark, OH, Jake (Mikayla) Foster of Dublin, OH; as well as numerous family members and friends.
Ronnie’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton for their kindness and care.
A funeral service will be held on Monday December 12, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Jim Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial with military honors will follow at the Byron Cemetery.
Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
