Ronald C. Meyers

Ronald C. Meyers, age 84 of Fairborn passed away Friday December 3, 2021.  He was born September 4, 1937 in Buffalo, New York, the son of the late Stanley A. and Jeannette M. (Willisegger) Meyers.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force as an electrical engineer, retiring at the rank of Major; and followed with employment as a government contractor; retiring after 39 years of combined service.  Ronald was devoted husband, father and grandfather; and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.  He was a member of Mary, Help of Christians church for many years.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annette; brother, Dennis Meyers; and son-in-law, Steven Pleasant.  Ronald is survived by his children, Teresa Pleasant, Kevin (Kathleen) Meyers, Donna (James) Hobbs, Michelle (Gary) Reynolds, Keith (Kimberly) Meyers, and Susan (Robert) Wapelhorst; grandchildren, Matthew (Michelle), Emily, and John Pleasant, Eric (Maggie) and Chris Meyers, Ryan and Lauren Hobbs, Logan Reynolds, Noah and Alex Meyers, and Andrew and Joseph Wapelhorst; great-grandchildren, Adeline, Arlo, and Silas; sister, Judy Strubel; and numerous extended family members and friends. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. Fairborn, OH 45324. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Mary, Help of Christians, 954 N. Maple Ave, Fairborn, OH 45324 on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10 AM with Charles Lang, celebrant officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in memory of Ronald.
