Robert L. Eldridge, Jr.

Robert L. Eldridge, Jr., age 44 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday February 27, 2020 at his residence.  He was born December 8, 1975 in Xenia, the son of the late Robert L., Sr. and Ruth Ann (Godsey) Eldridge.  Robert was previously employed for most of his career with the Carpenters Union; and his hobbies included weightlifting, motorcycles, and hot rods.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal and fraternal grandparents, Bessie and Drew Godsey, and Marie and Joe Eldridge; as well as aunts, uncles, and other extended family.  Survivors include his son, Dalton Eldridge; three brothers, Joey Eldridge (Kim Hilgeman), Anthony Godsey of Fairborn, Andrew Eldridge (fiancé, Corena Hill) of Fairborn; a niece, Mariah; as well as aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.  A Gathering of Family and Friends to remember Robert will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Robert Eldridge Memorial Fund, to be used for his son, at any Wright-Patt Credit Union location.
