Ricky Burns

Ricky Burns, age 57 of Fairborn, passed away Monday March 7, 2022 at the Ohio State University Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1965 in Oenida, KY, the son of Arnold Burns and Justine Burns. He served as a firefighter and EMS for the city of Moraine as well as a press operator for Miami Valley Publishing. Rick enjoyed gardening, playing the guitar, Ham Radio, and restoring arcade games. Ricky is preceded in death by his father, Arnold Burns. He is survived by his son, Kelly Burns; grandson, Tanner Matthew; his mother Justine Burns; and his beloved cat. A funeral service will be held on Monday March 14, 2022 at 12 noon in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E Dayton Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Roland Carper officiating. The family will receive family and friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery, Fairborn.
