Richard A. Schuwerk

Richard A. Schuwerk, age 64 of Fairborn passed away March 29, 2023.  He was born December 11, 1958 at Chaute AFB, IL, the son of the late Merrill and Ada (Evans) Schuwerk.  He was employed as a Pre-Press Print Technician at Promotional Spring.  Being a very talented and successful guitarist, Richard enjoyed handcrafting guitars and various other instruments.  He enjoyed restoring vintage motorbikes, fishing and spending time with friends.  Richard is survived by five children, Lisa Striff, Aaron Schuwerk, Alexis (Benjamin) Denlinger, Richard E. Schuwerk, Ryan (Selina) Schuwerk; seven grandchildren; twin brother, James Schuwerk; two sisters, Dianne Pardinas, Joyce (Ron) Whitley; as well as extended family and many friends.  A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 11:00 until 12:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn.  A private burial will be held by the family.
