Reva N. (Adams) Davis

Reva N. (Adams) Davis, age 84 of Fairborn, passed away Monday December 25, 2017 at Dayspring of the Miami Valley.  She was born November 20, 1933 in West Liberty, Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Calla (Gross) Adams.  Reva was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and riding bikes with her husband.  She also enjoyed going to church for many years.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Drexel Davis in 2008; four brothers, William, Orlan, Jesse, George Jr.; three sisters, Ethel Hamrick, Lorene Caskey, Ida Broadbeck; a granddaughter, Tammy; daughter-in-law, Thelma Davis; and son-in-law, Bruce Young.  Reva is survived by four sons, Larry of Fairborn, Garry (Maria) of Fairborn, Terry (Kathy) of Hillsboro, Jack (Janie) of Beavercreek; two daughters, Deloris Young of West Carrollton, JoAnn Frugé (Adam) of Colorado; fourteen grandchildren, Larry Jr., Rachel, Cherie, Jolene, Garry Jr., Terry Jr., Jason, Kevin, Steve, Jenn, Josh, Eric, Curtis, Crystel; 24 great-grandchildren; a great great-granddaughter; and one sister, Ina Friedt of Indiana; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Dayspring and Hospice of the Miami Valley for their loving care.  The family will receive friends of Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 10:30 A.M., Pastor Tim Walden officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Hospice of the Miami Valley.
