Phillip B. Crenshaw

Phillip B. Crenshaw, age 81, of Fairborn, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. He was born on October 24, 1939 in Shepherdsville, Kentucky; the son of the late Edgar and Dorothy (Jones) Crenshaw. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Heaven B. Crenshaw. Phillip is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Pamela R. (Clifton) Spitler-Crenshaw; sons, Brad (Jackie) Crenshaw, Matthew (Kimberlie) Crenshaw, Tobin (Monica) Crenshaw, and Jordan Crenshaw; daughters, Chynna Spitler and India Crenshaw; brother, Newell (Susan) Crenshaw; sisters, Sue Arnold, Linda Andriacco, and Ina Crenshaw; grandchildren, Kari (Aaron) Hampton, Jacob Crenshaw, Jennifer Crenshaw, Sarah Petzel, Emily (Jarod) Mast, Nathaniel (Katie) Petzel, and Wil Petzel; six great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family members. Phillip served in the United States Army for several years and continued to work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a computer programmer and systems analyst until his retirement after 32 years. He also served as Chief Officer, paramedic, and firefighter at the Bethel Township Fire Department of Clark County for 20 years. Phillip was a man of faith and attended Abiding Christ Lutheran Church, Fairborn. In his free time, Phillip loved to drive around town with his family. As a family man, Phillip loved spending time with his family the most. He was an automobile enthusiast enjoying car shows, races, and performing auto repairs with his children and best friend, Charlie Pennington. Phillip served as President of the Klutch Kings custom car club. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, OH 45324. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11 AM at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home. Phillip will be laid to rest at Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery, Kentucky.
