Penny Shaver

Penny Shaver, age 59, of Fairborn, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021. She was born January 23, 1962 in Dayton, Ohio; the daughter of the late Brewie and Clemma (Gross) Slone. Penny is survived by her beloved husband, Roy; children, Amber (Shawn) Sturgill and Derrick Shaver; stepson, James (Nicole) Shaver; grandchildren, Alexis, Zoe, Gracey, Sophia, Mason, Taylor Climmons, Mackenzie Shaver, Autumn Shaver; great-grandson, Landon Climmons; brother, Randy (Irene) Lykins; sister, Alice Capps; and numerous extended family members and friends. Penny loved crafts and anything to do with Halloween.  Her husband describes her as: “the love of my life, she was not just my partner she was my best friend, my soulmate, my one true love.” Even in the hardest times, she was always there to make the best of everything. She was the most loving, caring, and compassionate person as she always knew how to make someone smile even on the darkest days. The memories she created will remain in the hearts of everyone who knew her. Penny will be missed and loved forever.  Private services to be held by the family.
