Peggy J. Northrop

Peggy J. Northrop, age 79 of Fairborn, passed away on Monday December 10, 2018.  She was born November 1, 1939 in Stockport, Ohio; and her mother, Julia Northrop, preceded her in death.  Peggy attended St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fairborn and participated in the Lutheran Saints in Ministry.  She was employed in civil service at Wright-Patterson AFB as a program manager for Singapore, retiring after 25 years of service.  Peggy was an accomplished pianist and an avid dog lover.  Survivors include her beloved granddaughter, Julia Jordan; daughter, Paige Jordan; nephew, Theodore Carney; niece, Rea Carrier, all of Fairborn; and a great-nephew, Westley (Jami) Carrier of Missouri.  The family will receive friends on Thursday December 13, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Friday December 14, 2018 at 10:30 A.M., Pastor Craig Fourman officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton.
