Paul E. Botts

Paul E. Botts, age 93 of Fairborn passed away Tuesday September 24, 2024.  He was born May 14, 1931 in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of the late Elon and Olive (Foster) Botts.  He served in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War before graduating from Miami-Jacob’s Business College. He was employed in sales at National Tag before retiring after 37 years of service.  Paul was a longtime Deacon at First Presbyterian Church of Fairborn.  He enjoyed traveling and driving for the Senior Center.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death  by his mother Olive G (Foster), father Elon W. Botts Sr, stepmother Esther (Troire) Botts, sister, Elma Rowell,  brother, Elon Botts Jr., and daughter, Cathy (Botts) Rowley.  Paul is survived by his loving wife, Pam; daughter, Brenda (Neal) Hinz; two step-sons, Mark (Sandy) Flynn, Todd (Brittany) Flynn; grandchildren, Derrick, Nathan, Kristen, Patrick, Meghan, Alex, Kenzie, Carson; step-grandchildren, Nicole, Ashley; sister, Mary McConnel; grand-dog Lewie; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.  A memorial service will be held on Friday October 4, 2024 @ 2:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Fairborn, Rev. Joe Hinds officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Fairborn.
