Nella M. Lewis

Nella M. Lewis, age 81 of London, Ohio, passed away Friday November 24, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born July 22, 1942 in Ivel, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elliott and Grace (Stephens) Murphy.  Nella was a terrific golfer, she played many tournaments around the Dayton area with her husband as her caddy supporting her every round.  She enjoyed bingo, spending time with family, and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clifford, James, Johnny, Billy, and Thomas Ray Elliott; three sisters, Margilee Murphy, Edna Shenefield, and Mary Lou Mills Penix.  Nella is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Jesse; son Arlis (Sonia) Williams; daughter Patricia (Allan) Walters; grandchildren, Jesse Osborne, Kristin (Mike) Mullins, Robin (Dustin) Wright, Joseph Morin, Jacob Morin, Taylor Williams, great grandchildren,  Madison, Aiden, Colton, Jessilyn, Jace, MyKaleigh, Hunter, Alyssia, Daniel, sister, Claudia Harwick; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Ronnie Spriggs officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.
