Michael G. “Mike” Clark, age 51 of Springfield, passed away on Sunday February 7, 2021 at the Soin Medical Center. He was born January 7, 1970 in Dayton, the son of Dottie Owsley and Sammie Clark. Mike was a loving and giving member of his community and left his legacy as an organ donor, continuing to give even in death. He lived his life to the fullest and loved his family more than anything. An avid musician, Mike was a talented guitar player and liked his Rock N' Roll.
Mike is survived by his mother, Dottie Owsley; father, Sammie Clark; a son, Zachary Clark; two daughters, Paislee Clark, Jinae Taulbee and her three children; long-time girlfriend, Michelle Vance; brother, James (Monica) Clark; two step-sisters, Savannah Hess, Brittan Hackett; step-mother, Michelle Clark; two aunts, Bulavene Hall, Mary Lou Martin; foster brothers, Wayne Brooks, John West; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Peachie Pitts, Claude and Madeline Clark; a brother, Samuel Clark; and four uncles, Billy Jay, Ostal, Junior Pitts, Leonard Clark, Leonard Hall; and step-father, Bill Owsley.
The family will receive friends on Friday February 19, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will hold a private service and burial on Saturday.
