Michael G. Stone

FAIRBORN — Michael G. STONE age 53, of Fairborn, passed away peacefully, at Soin Medical Center, in Beavercreek, OH. He was the son of the late USAF Sgt. Gerald Michael "Jerry" Stone of Fairborn and Sharion Ann (Low) Stone, of Fairborn.

Michael was a charismatic individual with an intellectual curiosity comparable to none. He loved his family and close friends. Michael was a dedicated student his entire life—excelling in the study of world history, with a strong passion about both world wars and the war in Vietnam. In addition to history Michael always looked up +, with a strong devotion to astronomy but not limited to aerospace science and the milestones met by NASA. A historic car enthusiast, partial to General Motors due to his father’s employment with GM. Michael, an essential member of his devoted family, will surely be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Michael G. Stone is preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, Ewell and Nancy (Byrd) Low of Fairborn; paternal grandparents, Owen and Alice Frances (Joyce) Stone of Martinsville VA; aunt, Consuela Parra “Connie” Villaverde Low. Michael is survived by his mother, Sharion Ann (Low) Stone of Fairborn; special uncles, Keith Royce Low of Ajo AZ; Wayne Durham Stone of Elizabethton, TN; special extended family, Janice (Ronald) Hurt of New Carlisle; Nina (Jim) Beverly of Fairborn; Thomas Beverly of Fairborn; Ireda Byrd of Fairborn; special helper, Megan Hurt Franer of Fairborn; family friend, Hazel Irene Ayers of Englewood; extra-special friend, Jan Jacobs of Beavercreek; as well as other members of his extended family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.

A visitation and funeral service announcement will follow date and time in Huntsville, TN. Four Oaks Funeral Home. A church funeral service will follow at River View Missionary Baptist Church, Huntsville TN. Burial to follow in River View Cemetery, Huntsville, TN.
