Michael Ray Anderson

Michael Ray Anderson, age 69 of Centerville, OH, passed away, unexpectedly, in the comfort of home, Sunday, April 6, 2025. He was born June 12, 1955, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late John Jefferson and Helen Mae (Shiltz) Anderson.

Michael honorably served in the United States Air Force achieving the rank of Captain. He stayed active throughout his adult life, running in marathons, and competing regularly in similar fitness related activities. Moreover, Michael was an avid golfer, playing with friends and finding joy among his golf group. He will be missed greatly by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Nancy Anderson; maternal grandparents, Orville and Mary Shiltz. He is survived by a brother, Kirby (Lisa) Anderson; niece, Charma Anderson (Jeff Geer); great nieces & nephews, Serena, Destiney, Vinny, Donovon, Brittany; extended family, and close friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held by the immediate family and close friends at a future date. Arrangements entrusted to Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn, OH.
