Mary Kathleen Hoskins

Mary Kathleen Hoskins, age 83 of Fairborn passed away February 15, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton.  She was born April 28, 1937 in West Liberty, Kentucky, the daughter of the late John Vance.  Mary loved to travel with her son and grandson drag racing, she was their biggest fan.  She was a longtime member of Abiding Christ; enjoyed league bowling; and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her husband, Clark P. Hoskins; four sisters; and a brother.  Mary is survived by two sons, Wayne Hoskins, Randy (Linda) Hoskins; three grandchildren, Joe Hoskins, Amber Hoskins; Greg Hoskins; three great-grandchildren, Kaydence Cole, Autumn Cook; Alexis Castro; great-great granddaughter, Karlee Castro; sister, Yvonne Rose; two step-sisters, Opal Burkhart Lynch, Sue Collier, sister-in-law, Carlesstta Burkhart; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Craig Fourman officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  The family would like to thank Nancy Trimble, the staff at Hospice of Dayton and Laurels of Huber Heights.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abiding Christ Education Fund, 326 E.
