Mary Jane Goings

Mary Jane Goings, 85, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on March 29, 2023. She was born on January 29, 1938 in Dayton, the daughter of John Leslie and Ethel B. Wood.  Mary was loving, tough, loyal, kind, intelligent, and funny. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Mary was employed as an Insurance Salesperson, retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield in 1993 after over 30 years of service.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Robert, Tim; grandson, Michael; great-grandson, Silas; five brothers, Lee, Frank, Dave, Danny, Don; three sisters, Nancy, Thelma, Connie.

Mary is survived by a sister, Fay; two sons, Frank (Colleen), John; granddaughters, Laura, Daniele, Amanda, Megan, Hannah, Kathryn, Elizabeth; grandsons, John Jr., Robert, Richard, Chris, Brian,  daughter-in-law, Mary; thirteen great-grandchildren

A vistiation will be held on Monday April 10, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 11:00 A.M., Pastor Don Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Byron Cemetery.
