Marvin D. Singleton, age 83 of Fairborn passed away January 22, 2022. He was born January 30, 1938 in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of the late Willard and Eleanor (Sumner) Singleton. He was a graduate of Fairborn High School and followed with employment at General Motors as a millwright, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, member of the Shriner’s and VFW. Marvin enjoyed hot rods and the Grand Nationals. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Singleton. He is survived by a son, Robert Peebles; three daughters, Sherry, Vicky, Cathy; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; as well as extended family. A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 10, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor H. Wesley Barnhill officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Marvin will be laid to rest next to his wife at Byron Cemetery. C
