Marquita Holbrook

Marquita Holbrook, age 70 of Enon, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday June 18, 2019.  She was born August 8, 1948 in Pikeville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Larce and Louise (Bartley) Darby.  Marquita enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Schmidt.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim; four children, Christina (Frederick) Messaros, Tamera (Brian) Fugate, James (Sara) Holbrook, Mathew (Marissa) Holbrook; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Latona (Larry) Borders; brother, Gary (Sani) Darby; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Friday June 21, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Eric Meade officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Enon Cemetery.
