Margaret "Marge" Drake

Margaret I. “Marge” Drake, age 77 of Fairborn, passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Margaret was born at home in Clio, Michigan on October 31,1940. She was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Franklin Miller; grandmother, Anna Laura Jessmore; daughter, Robin Lynn; sister, Anna Louise Miller; and two brothers, Uri Sonny Miller, Wesley James Miller.  Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald Drake Sr.; three sons, Ronald Drake II, Scott Drake Sr., and William Drake Sr. (Brandi); three daughters, Lisa McClure (Gary), Yvonne Beckman (Jim), and Shelli Weller (Steven); brother, John Miller (Judy); 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special niece, Deb Jasmine; and two special sisters in law, Bernie and Kim Miller. Margaret ran concessions for Fairborn Little League and Wee Hawks from 1980-90 where she was known for her homemade chili and the kids knew her as "Mom Drake".Marge took pride in a job well done and was known for her no nonsense approach.  After retiring from the Fairborn Kroger Deli in 2007, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and traveling to Michigan to visit with family.  Margaret was a very giving and kind person.  Family and friends will honor her legacy of selfless acts of giving.
