Mae Perry

Mae Perry, age 84 of Fairborn, passed away Tuesday February 27, 2024.  She was born May 2, 1939 in Morgan Co., Kentucky, the daughter of the late George and Causie Ann (Doolin) Caskey.  Mae was a longtime member of the Pentecostal Church of God and she loved going to church.  Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy and she enjoyed hosting family get-togethers.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell in 2014; a sister, Jeanette Hurley; two brothers, E.K. Caskey, L.B. Caskey; daughter-in-law, Shirley Perry; and two grandsons, David Ison and Justin Ison.

Survivors include three children, Sherrie (Les) Ison of Fairborn, Charlie Perry of West Liberty, KY, Darrell Jr. (Connie) Perry of Manchester, OH; three grandchildren, Joyce Pennington, Ricky Pennington, Mariah Powell; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Minnie Gevedon; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday March 4, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Rev. Silas Hoskins and Harold Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Entombment will follow at the Byron Cemetery Mausoleum.
