Madge M. Coomer

Madge M. Coomer, age 87 of Fairborn, passed away Thursday August 30, 2018.  She was born April 17, 1931 in Jackson, KY, the daughter of the late Jake and Roseanne (Combs) Niece.  Madge retired from Wright State University and attended Faircreek Church in Fairborn.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by eight siblings.  She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Paul; four children, Paul D. Coomer of Fairborn, Karen Coomer of Georgia, Rhonda (Wade) Trahan of Louisiana, Vaughn (Terri) Coomer of Texas; four grandchildren, Paula (Melinda) Coomer, Matthew (Jill) Coomer, Melissa (Knox) Brand, Allison (Wesley) Wright; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Bess, Geneva, Elsie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday September 6, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Bill Letcher officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
