Lowell C. Ferguson

Lowell C. Ferguson, age 89 of Fairborn passed away November 1, 2023.  He was born September 3, 1934 in Crockett, KY, the son of the late Charles E. and Hattie M. (Hutchinson) Ferguson.  Lowell served his country in the U.S. Army, 10th Mountain Division; and followed with employment as a welder, retiring from  Weiler Welding and Avion Tool Corporation.  He was a member of the Black Bass Casting Society; and enjoyed fishing, playing cards.  Lowell especially loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Franklin A. Ferguson.  He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, June; four children, Jim (Tina) Ferguson, Sandy (Kim) Hunley, Martie Blankenship, Tom Ferguson; ten grandchildren, Jenny (Gerry), Mandy (Earl), Ty (Ian), George, Chris (Naomi), Nick (Kortney), Katie (Cody), Jonathon (Hannah), Gabby, Matthew; ten great-grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.  A funeral service will be held on Monday November 6, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Maple Heights Baptist Church, 144 W. Funderburg Rd., Fairborn, Pastor Chris Tannreuther officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  Burial with military honors will follow at Byron Cemetery.
