Louie E. Hill

Louie E. Hill, of Bethel Twp. / Huber Heights, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday October 27, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by his family.  He was born September 28, 1925 in Redash, Virginia, the son of the late James J. and Lilly Mae (Pyles) Hill.  He was preceded in death by a brother, James O. Hill (Boots), a sister, Marcella (Hill) Ratliff, and infant sister, Maxine Hill.

Louie worked in the coal mines when he was a young man until he relocated to Ohio to work at Inland Manufacturing in Vandalia, where he was employed for 36 years before his retirement.

Louie attended and was an active member of Beavercreek Church of God for 31 years.  Louie loved the Lord and was always quick to share his testimony on how he was saved.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 23 years, Wanda; two sons, Darrell (Sharon) Hill of Fairborn, Rick (Nella) Hill of Beavercreek; five step-children, John Morelock, Richard Morelock, Jeannie Morelock, Terry Hicks, Robert (Kim) Hicks; three grandchildren, Wendy (Mark) Ballard, Rebecca Hill, Erin (Billy) Elms; four great-grandchildren, Levi, Liam and Leilani Elms, Carson Ballard; two half-sisters, Betty Benton of Florida, Joanne Hess of Virginia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.  He will be greatly missed, loved and forever cherished by his family, until we all meet again!

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Monday November 1, 2021 at the Beavercreek Church of God, 2661 Grange Hall Rd., Beavercreek.  A funeral service will be held immediately after the viewing at 1:00 P.M., Pastor Larry Nichols officiating.  Burial will follow at the Byron Cemetery.  Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to the Beavercreek Church of God.
