Louella Burris, age 92 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Danbury Senior Living. She was born September 5, 1932, in Mount Vernon, KY, the daughter of the late Louis and Mattie (Saylor) Livesay.
A lifelong resident of Fairborn, Louella dedicated many years of her life working as a factory worker at Ali Industries. Her commitment to her job was matched only by her devotion to her family and her talents in the kitchen.
Louella will be remembered for her kind spirit and her love for family. Each week, she cherished the time spent around the dinner table with her children and grandchildren, offering them comfort not only in her presence but also through her famous comfort food that brought warmth and joy to every gathering. Her culinary skills were complemented by her hobbies; she was an avid sewer, skilled in needlework and quilt-making, and took great pride in tending to her yard. Louella had a particular fondness for yellow roses, which adorned her garden and symbolized her vibrant spirit.
Her nurturing personality made her a beloved figure among family and friends alike. The memories created over weekly dinners and shared moments will forever be held dear by those she loved. Louella's legacy of kindness and love will echo in the hearts of all who knew her.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Danbury Senior Living & Day City Hospice for their exceptional care during Louella’s later years.
